JEFFERY BLVD & THE MAIN DRAG is Jeff Jelen, the Chicago-based musician that has been around the block for some time now playing in bands such as Charles Bronson, Mk-Ultra, Punch In The Face, VMW, Boystown among others. Veering away from hardcore wreckage, he instead switches gears to a more driving, straightforward rock'n'roll sound he grew up listening to as a kid. Not only inspired by the sounds of the FM dial but the freedom of youth, where the only thing that mattered was hanging out with friends all day and playing Burgertime at the local arcade.

Strictly limited but more work on the way!

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
